My heart is crying

Hello all, I hope your Easter weekends are going faaaaabulously!

This week something huge happened. Like. It shook up my world. Seriously.

Let me spell it out for you.

L-I-Z-Z-I-E--B-E-N-N-E-T.

Now let's put it all together: Lizzie Bennet.

RIGHT?

Well, for those of you who don't know what the Lizzie Bennet Diaries are or who Lizzie Bennet is for that matter, let me shed some light.

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries is an interatcive modern day retelling of Pride & Prejudie via vlog. Most of the show is played out in front of a camera by these amazing actors(whowillmakeyoufallinlovewiththemandthenripyourhearttoshreds).

For some odd reason I said to myself "Start watching the LBDiaries now" last Sunday night, while in bed. And so I began my journey. Knowing nothing about the series, I just clicked play and it took me up until the mention of William Darcy to figure out what the show was really about (and that it wasn't an actual vlog hehe)  It took me 5 days to reach episode 99, while in History class and by lunch time the final video was up. Of course I wasn't going to watch the final page in Lizzie Bennet's diary on an iPod in my human development class...that would be disrespectful. So I waited until my last period spare, but then I felt awkward watching it in the library so I decided I'd wait until I got home. Well I didn't actually go home because I went to work and by the time I got home I went to bed and decided to pretend the LBDiaries were never ending. Because that is a good way to get rid of your problems. Sleeping.
Anywayas, I woke up Friday morning, booted up my computer and watched the final moments of the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. It was hard for me to say goodbye to all those characters, to that well known story, and to the wonderful actors.

I had five great days of obsessing over Youtube videos under my Mother's watchful eyes and another 5 days (I say five prematurely but it'll really be 7 + reliving painful memories) of mourning the loss of those five great days I had. Mhmp.

I just wanted to make this post to tip my hat off to the creators, produces, writers, actors, makeup artists, fashion directors, and anyone else who worked on The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. You are great.

I also wanted to spread the word regarding this beautiful nugget of the internet. While watching the show I got another friend to start her first episode in the middle of the night, which come to think of it was probably a bad idea, and another friend who is currently right in the middle. And I hope, if you haven't already begun your journey through the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, that you embark quite soon as well! It's worth it.
