Blogger hop

TGIFTGIFTGIFTGIFTGIFTGIF

Thank God it's Friday and I escaped school without any homework!  So the blogger hop was started by the fab Crazy for books, yaddah, yaddah, yaaaadaaaaaaaah.

This week's question:

Do you judge a book by its cover?

My anwer is a yes.  I can't help it!  It's like looking at a steaming plate of banana peels and excpecting it to taste good.  You can't excpect me to apreciate that.  But of course, there have been those few books that I thought were good...possibly okay...despite their lack of cover art.  But when I think about it, every one of those really awesome books I've read so far has had an awesome cover, like Hush Hush, Shiver, Sing me to sleep, Malice, Hunger games.  Yeap...those are some sexy covers.  Books are to be sold, and to be sold...they have to sell themselves to me.  Do you think a Fashion designer would hire an ugly model for his ads?  NO!  He's guna find the sexiest bizznatch he can.  Because the whole package has to look good.  And without an awesome cover, I don't buy.

Good God I sound like a wiaaattch.  Oh well...I'm moody.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, it is of course apreciated.  Make sure to sign up for my contests going on!  One if open to U.S and Canadian residents and one of them is only open to Canadians.  And just to let you know, there is a 35$ gift certificate up for grabs...mmmmmmggaaaay.

So far, I've written some sort of a...urrr...report about the Hunger games.  I'm just waiting to see if something can happen...cuz its kinda cool.  Okay I'm being sketch.  I'm also guna have a review for Clockwork Angel up soon (SO GOOD!) and Sydney Salter will be doing a guest post on the blog soon!  Yaaaaaaay.

Okay then.  Enjoy your labour day weekend all!

  1. Hey! I'm stopping in from the hop and already a follower. I judge a book by its cover too though even if a cover's not exactly spectacular, if the plot description sounds good, I still usually give the book a chance, lol.

    Have a great weekend! :)
